Discover Art Downtown and view the beautiful oil paintings of Hi Stockwell. His exhibit, “Sunrise Sunset” will capture the breathtaking views of the mornings and evenings Hi has seen from his travels. As part of the downtown pet theme, we will be collecting donations for the Cat Association of Topeka. Pet themed snacks, soda, beer and wine provided.
Nine Artists Exhibit from Two Wolves Artist Collective

View the work of 12 artists from the Two Wolves Artist Collective. The Collective is a group of artists who advocate for the arts in Topeka. The artists featured in this group exhibit use several mediums and styles from photo realistic to surreal, oil, acrylic, watercolor, or metal. Get a beautifully designed henna tattoo from talented artist, Vidhi Shah and rock out as we celebrate Elvis week with a life-size stand up for pictures and help those less fortunate by donating school supplies.

Her paintings make us more aware of our surroundings and their beauty. Diane has taught workshops and given demonstrations in both silk painting and watercolor. Come view the beautiful silk paintings from members of the Sunflower Silkers group. Silk painting is the art of applying fabric dye or paint with a brush to white silk. Afterwards, the color is then heat set using steam or an iron. Join us in the Cheesy Chalk Walk with cheesy themed foods and Spenser Acker, an exceptional young man with autism, who will fill our sidewalks with vibrant colors and shapes.
