The Sunflower Silkers
Come view the beautiful silk paintings from members of the Sunflower Silkers group. Silk painting is the art of applying fabric dye or paint with a brush to white silk. Afterwards, the color is then heat set using steam or an iron. Join us in the Cheesy Chalk Walk with cheesy themed foods and Spenser Acker, an exceptional young man with autism, who will fill our sidewalks with vibrant colors and shapes. The artists featured in this group exhibit use several mediums and styles from photo realistic to surreal, oil, acrylic, watercolor, or metal. Get a beautifully designed henna tattoo from talented artist, Vidhi Shah and rock out as we celebrate Elvis week with a life-size stand up for pictures and help those less fortunate by donating school supplies.
