First Friday Art Walk – April 2018

Discover Art Downtown at NexLynx Gallery of Arts, Friday April 6th from 5pm to 8pm, to view the talented student art of Shawnee Heights High School during our First Friday Art Walk.

Once a year NexLynx opens its Gallery to a local High School to showcase the works of talented young artists. This year, we host the ninth through twelfth grade visual art students from Shawnee Heights High School, displaying a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture and jewelry.

Art instructors, Avery Ayers-Berry, Beth Hanna, Steve Loy, Ryan Paget, and Wendy Wheeler, will present the artwork in the exhibit comprised of pieces by Brooklyn Armbruster, Cayla Bortz, Adah Davis, Jordan DeLong, Madison Elskamp, Briley Ginter, Felix Harrington, Avery Hauschild, Riley Hockman, Peyton Hughes, Alayna Janke, Madisyn Landry, Adelia Lawrenz, Brooke Matzek, Kassandra McManus, Chansea Montgomery, Teresa Osterhaus, Lauren Ostrander, Tayler Parrish, Ashley Pheigaru, Jailene Ramos, Grace Savoie, Macey Spaulding, Haley Stalkfleet, Elaena Steffen, Madison Stessman, Madisyn Ward, Tori White and Staci Whitford.

This month only, we’re featuring snacks that all teens love. As always, enjoy our selection of sodas, craft beers and wines. Or try one of several varieties of iced or hot tea or coffee from our brew station.
